Great article :) I love the parallels drawn between Mollywood and Kerala's unique identity. By unique I mean, it is quite different from the rest of India. Has amazing cinema, unique cuisine, and freedom of expression.

It is without nationalist narratives and rampant majoritarianism common to the rest of the country. Kerala is a land unrestricted by political correctness and vote bank politics. And their cinema is a reflection of that.
